Myst makes fine jewellery with laboratory-grown diamonds, in India, one piece at a time. Nothing is held in stock. You choose a design, we make it, and it is dispatched in fifteen to twenty days.

The price is the point

Every product page breaks its price into four figures: the gold at that day's rate, the making charge, the stones, and 3% GST. The four add up to the total, and you can check the sum on a phone. Gold is repriced daily, so the figure you see carries the date it was calculated.

Most jewellery is sold the other way round: one number, no working. We would rather show ours. It is the part of this business we are least willing to give up.

The stones

Every stone is a laboratory-grown diamond, produced by chemical vapour deposition. They are graded E-F for colour and VVS-VS for clarity. Where the centre stone is a carat or more, we certify it and send the IGI certificate with the piece.

A laboratory-grown diamond holds its value badly. Buy it to wear, not to resell. We would rather talk about what a piece costs to make than what it might one day be worth.

Made after you order it

We start your piece when you order it. That is what fixes the fifteen to twenty days: nothing is sitting in a drawer waiting for a buyer.
